The Aberdeen-Curtin Alliance is offering unique opportunities to undertake doctoral study with a truly international dimension. Students undertaking a collaborative PhD under the alliance are offered a seamless international experience aswell as a fully funded scholarship with living stipend. You will spend time at each institution and will be supervised by both Aberdeen and Curtin research staff.

    As an individual, and equally an aspirant for a PhD scholarship, i believe the decision by these institutions to come up with this program is a great move in understanding the complex character of world issues and means of solving them.
    I believe this is a start, and that such program shall be extended to other unversities especially to those areas characterized by pressing world issues, such as poverty, conflicts, illegal migration and human rights violations.

        I’m interested in doing a PhD in the Engineering, preferably in Oil and Gas. I just submitted a dissertation on “Maintenance & Reliability Optimization: A Condition-Based Approach to Corradable and Degradable Subsea Oil and Gas Facilities(Pipelines)” to the School of Engineering and Computing for an MSc in Oil and Gas Emgineering with Management at the University of Huddersfield therefore, venturing into this pragramme will be superb!
        I had once had to choose between Aberdeen and Curtin University for an MSc in Subsea Engineering after my BEng in Petroleum and Gas Engineering couple of years ago but was incapacitated. Seeing my dream schools in such collaboration is indeed a welcomed feat.

  10. Hi I would like to study at your university, PhD I am an engineer by profession, but a lecturer by passion. My last graduate degree is a master’s degree. I taught at the university. I like to think differently, innovate and improve people’s lives, I gained both valuable industrial and training on experience with the workings of industry and university. My job responsibilities at education altogether this has been a resourceful experience for me since I multi-tasked and learned various techniques and technologies used in industry and study.
    I hope to gain solid training in conducting critical research, build teaching experiences, and develop presentation skills.

    • Dear Rahmat Khezri, According to Australian Immigration regulations, all international student visa holders are required to have Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the duration of their student visa. The costs of OSHC are not covered by the Aberdeen Curtin Alliance PhD Scholarship 2018. Thanks
